Yeah. I've shimmed my share of boxes. Just takes too much of my time to bother. My m4 still has most of the G&P gears (excluding the broken sector gear) but the rest have the modular kits. Makes spring swaps go much faster when you don't have to fiddle with getting everything back in place. The ASCU makes things even faster with not having to fight a AR latch or trigger. A ton fewer pieces to lose too! lol It literally takes me more time getting the mech boxes out over a spring swap, cleaning, maintenance and relube of the box itself!
