Long story short: I have a MOSFET in my buffer tube, so I can't use the original screw. I'm thinking of making a hole in the buffer cap to use it to tighten down the buffer, however to do so I need a longer screw.

To make my hunt for one easier... Does anyone know the threading on buffer tube screws? (those that screw on the rear of the gearbox)
