I already have gotten the extended barrel and silencer.It only cost 25$. It does make everyting better. The range doubled, the accuracy is very consistent and it raised the fps by 60 (came with better bucking). I dont find the silencer to get in the way of anything. it goes parallel to my leg but once I get my new rig its gonna go under my arm instead of on the drop let. Only think I dont like about it is that every mag or so it loosens the threads.
As for dropping mags, its never happened to me. My buddies have a few times but maybe its just their guns(i'm the only one with a 1911).
