KSC Magpul FPG

This is my KSC Magpul FPG review

This is the Japanese made version by KSC and not the Taiwanese one.

Opening the box you get:
1 FPG
1 Magazine
1 Sample pack of bbs
1 Instruction sheet
1 KSC Catalog
1 Tag attached to the FPG (Honestly don't know what it says)

The Externals

The gun itself is built off a very strong polymer, being Magpul an awesome company that it is made it nearly the same as the real steel version. It's quite light for a machine pistol type weapon weighing a bit over 3 lbs. So I would say it's a great weapon for snipers looking for a sidearm. There is a sling attachment available along with a holster.

The M3X is sold separately and fits quite well with it.

The Internals

The Hop-Up is adjustable as the gun comes with a wrench. (Full instructions are on the sheet with pictures.) It's almost the same functions as a KSC Glock 18c as it has a full metal slide and barrel (Not sure for Marui's as I've never held one) The longer barrel assembly gives it a higher FPS and advantage over the kits were you must have your own slide assembled. Put around 10 mags through this thing and it holds up pretty well. Recoil wise the stock helps compensate for most of it but there can still be little recoil felt.

Comparison with my real steel Mosin-Nagant and Real Sword Type 56-2.

I haven't gamed with this yet as I'm busy studying but I will report back once I do. (My 18th birthday is on December 31st sadly)

Final verdict

This makes a great GBB weapon along with the MP7 or Mac-11. However it is your own preference if you want to replace it as your sidearm. If you want some tactical advantage I'm sure most people would stick to their M11s as having the FPG unfolded maybe an inconvenience and you may get hit while folding it. Overall I would recommend this weapon to everyone as it has a unique design and great feel with it.

Just a heads up/reminder to everyone, Marui style magazines cannot operate with this gun. Only KSC Glock 18 magazines can. Also this is not something that should be carried out to public, even though this really isn't a real gun, or even if you want to use it as a flashlight.
