Go for the Cavalvy headset.
Super confortable, fit under helmet or any kind of headgear. It allow you to hear normally with it on and it's as if you did not have anything on your head.
Shoulder mics are good, but not too quiet for stealthy ops. Earbuds fall off and need to be taped to be secure, unless you have a custom hearpeice. Then you kinda lose your hearing on that hear.
I tried many options, the cavalvy headset is the best.
