Whatever you do, do not use silicone caulking. It doesn't work and will just leak when it dries. Buy the proper gasket maker/sealer for engines, and the ones that can withstand chemicals and cold temperatures. If you're gonna go this route, do it right the first time or you'll spend a butt load of hours scraping the shit off.
