Who of us really play our guns with that many shots before deciding to upgrade the internals? anyone?

Your stock fps would drop below 200 when you get near 100,000 shots.
my AEG already dropped to 210 and I havn't touched my internals at all yet in my TM AEG (MP5K PDW on 0.20s)

Usually anyone who gets a TM, upgrades metal bushings, spring and spring guide. and down the line decides to upgrade anything else (metal body, ris/ras/sir, full stock/modstock/cranestock, silencers, m203 launchers).

There isn't a problem trying out other full AEG brands.
Usually after you buy a TM, you end up buying metal bodies and other internals from some of those companies anyway (G&G, CA, G&P, Systema).

Even when you buy the newer models of the other brands, people still tickle the internals and start upgrading other parts because they know which parts give them better performance and consistancey. Unless you are fairly new and you just want the best of the best internals.

I do agree, in SOME cases that it is cheaper to go with a FULL Metal Upgraded AEG rather than TM. Either way you will be spending 800+ after everything is purchased and your setup/upgrades are obtained.
