If you haven't seen/held the MK43....do so before plunking down any money. The ones I saw were sh*t. The front sight was pined crooked on the barrel, the charging handle felt pre-broken. Aside from that the body is the typical A&K soft-ish metal...looks the part, but don't carry it by the handle, don't drop it on the bipod, etc... Their mechboxes tend to be really so-so inside.....at least the 249's were. Reminded me of CYMA mechboxes.
I was told by a buddy that they're all like that out of the box.
The A&K M60 was actually not bad...different build level kind of.
That said...I'm very tempted to get a MK43...based on price. But I'd be committed to fixing the sight, stripping off all the breakable bits and redoing the internals.
