Best upgrade you might consider (worked for me after years of shooting ~500fps) is to actually DOWNGRADE the velocity to 400fps or so and upgrade the BB weight. Hey, I did in 2008 and never looked back, got the accuracy or consistancy way better (using 0.36g Bastards) afterwards, compared to when I was shooting 100fps higher, had lots of flyers and lack of consistancy too, no matter what parts I put in or ammo I used. Downgrading improved everything. Besides, actually lets you shoot closer than a higher velocity, makes you more able to do trick shots like slip a round between the 2" gap in the boards on a bunker from 100ft-150ft away, aim for a guy's mag pouches when 100ft away........ years of experience has shown me the higher in velocity you go, the more erratic and disappointing your accuracy/consistancy will become. From an aerodynamics point of view, it makes sense too, air being a fluid and irregular, the more backspin you put on a BB (aka, such as when using a heavier BB), the faster it spins backwards, the higher chance it'll react badly to various densities of air molecules it happens to run into on the way to your attempted target.
Literally, your high fps is mostly what's causing your inconsistancies, try dropping the spring to a lower one and not changing anything else (including ammo), do a taste test and see what you think..... best range I ever got was trying my CA M24 with a cut down spring, ~340fps w/0.20g BBs, and using 0.30g I'd get easy 300ft+ shots, mind you they'd get there but my grouping would be a 10ft circle, but still, was beyond the 200ft if lucky I'd get when I was shooting 585fps at one large game and using 0.36g.
