Y'see that's the thing; it's only negative when you haven't experienced it yet.
Once you have a couple "Goddamn!"s under your belt you'll understand that it's merely reality and part of the process.
Your question has already been answered higher up in the thread, as there are few manufacturers who make AUGs.

I can tell you that AUGs are super sweet, they're uncommon which is a plus for the snowflake factor, and that if you remember my rules the inevitable break won't feel so bad.

I can also tell you that if you cheap out on an AUG, possibly more than any other gun (at least more than most), when it breaks it will break spectacularly.

Don't get to down on what my words sound like, I'm saving you the time and the money it takes to learn this stuff the hard way.
