The C79 ELCAN is designed - in real steel - to have about 2 3/4" eye relief. In the "normal" firing position, where your nose is almost touching the charging lever, the optic would need to be farther forward to maintain proper relief and keep it away from the brim of your helmet. For airsoft, and with a replica sight ... do what works, yeah?
