sounds like you bought someone else's problem.
I'm going to guess the reason why the body was split was because the previous owner tried to fix the feeding problem. Sometimes the gearbox doesn't line up properly to the hopup and either causes a feeding problem or a loss of fps.
I'm asking you to take pictures of the original gearbox internals because the e1 p90 gearbox that I had that never worked had a sector gear with a large post to pull the tappet back, and it had a shorter than normal tappet plate (clear)
If the previous owner put in a regular tappet plate with that original E1 sector gear, it acts like a sector chip and holds the hopup open for too long and causes multiple BBs to feed.
Putting in a normal tappet plate and a normal gearset, I ended up with your problem, BBs would not feed. I fucked around with it for a year on and off, and ended up buying a new gun.
