Only the Romaji has the latin based pronounciation.
As for the Japanaese Kana (Hiragana and Katakana), they are moraic and for the Kanji, it's syllabic.

As for Pinyin, I don't think Latin based pronounciation can capture all the different tones the Chinese language uses. The most precise way is to write these in IPA symbols.

I could go into more details, but I think I will stop here before someone shoots himself after reading this.
