Hi everyone, I have a stock KWA M4 and a noob to modifying the guns. What I want to do is remove the front triangle iron sight so that its not in the way of the scope sitting on the main rail.

I was able to take out the flash hider, knock out the pins on the triangle sight and remove it from the barrel... HOWEVER, with the iron sight removed, how should I hold the front end of the handguard in place? And should I remove the silver metal tube that runs above the barrel connecting the body to the triangle sight? Not sure what its called, or what it does...

Any suggestions on this would be much appreciated!
