Basically just trace a line where the ball will roll, and dremel a channel, making one side deeper than the other. Test fire and adjust as needed.

At first we didn't make the channel slope deep enough, so it worked, but there was very little adjustment up or down... Took it apart, dremeled one side deeper, reassembled, tested again till we got it right. Now it goes from too-little on .25's up to just about perfect for .3's. So that's about the range of adjustment. If I wanted more (say to adjust for .2's or higher than .3's) I could either dremel the deep side deeper (for .2's) or cut the whole thing way down and use a slightly larger ball bearing. (stock hopup ball is 2mm, I have 2.5mm, but with the depth of channel we'd cut, even on the low setting it was overhopping .3's)

Anyways, I know a picture is worth a thousand rambling words, so maybe after this weekend I'll break my upper down and disassemble my hopup for pics. Just don't want to screw with it till I've gamed it this weekend. Just a little superstitious is all ;-)

I've heard that about the NPAS by the way. Need to dremel channels sort of like the "rocket valve"... But without mod it drops velocity to like 250fps. I'm interested in the KSC BCG/nozzle (because I'd like to have a spare, and actually one set for "outdoors" and one set for "cqb" would be nice), the only downside is that the KSC nozzle doesn't have any steel (I believe it's steel) reinforcements in the nozzle, so it could wear out and break faster than the stock nozzle.
Thanks for the details - might come in handy in due times

And yeah the nozzle is all plastic in the asian version. I haven't used my GBBR much yet, as I just fired a fire round here and there to try things a bit then put it away waiting to be "fixed" (hopup and npas etc), but the plastic/abs? seems of good quality enough. I don't know how much stress at have to handle though, but compared to the Nozzle my KWA's M93 had, it's much thicker and seems sturdier. Time will tell
