So I started taking the kraken apart today. Was a little nervous, but I've been doing my best to keep the screws labeled so they can go back to where they belong. I think the toughest thing will be getting the selector switch back on properly. Everything else seems pretty straight forward.
Now since I am going for a tactical/modern style AK, I figure I won't need to get a metal body, I'm just going to paint the plastic one until I can find a decent priced metal one in country. If I was going classic with wood, I'd be going metal for sure.
I will have some pics up soon to show how my build is coming along.
