Some places allow 16 and 17 year olds to play airsoft; but with a parent or legal guardian present. Expect that at 90% of those, you will have to prove your age (no your mother's word doesn't count). Most airsoft places in Canada are eighteen plus; and yes to be age verified, you "must" be eighteen or older. If your serious about playing and being a part of the community, now is the time to learn what you can. When your eighteen you can be age verified, and a wealth of resources will become available to you; it's worth the wait.

Unfortunately my friend, maturity isn't a factor in age verification, or legal responsibility. There are eighteen year old plus airsofters that are complete jackasses. Maturity will help you make the right friends and impress the community, as many youths are impatient and burn there bridges here before they become age verified. Be respectful, understanding, and patient; it's worth the wait.

Please do some in depth reading here before asking questions a million other youth or noobs have already asked. There is plenty of info on airsoft and forum rules available to you.

Thanks
