Quite an old thread but I feel that I should pipe in since I -JUST- bought a Contour GPS. I also have an couple old smart-phones and use one as my 'preview' for when I stick the cam around a corner. During a night game, my buddy lent me his infrared LED light, so I mounted that on one side, the Contour on the other and kept my old Samsung Galaxy S turned on and connected. It worked BEAUTIFULLY! I managed to poke my gun around a corner, saw a bad-guy about 5 feet in-front of me, pulled the trigger and -blam-, he's dead.
If you could record while doing this, I would be supremely happy but for me, it DOES work as a corner-shot especially if you don't mind sacraficing the recording for some awesome kills. I wonder if there's an app that I can record streaming-action from my phone itself (sort of like taking a screen-shot... but live movement...)
