Good springers:

- Tokyo Marui VSR or L96 / gun: $650 - $900 / upgrades: $500 - $1000

On a budget:

- Classic Army M24 / gun: $250 - $500 / upgrades: $400 - $800

This doesn't include magazines, bipod, scope, etc

You will need experience and skill to hit your targets with one, and avoid enemy detection.

You will need a bunch of proper upgrades to do the job, unless you want them to be useless against against an AEG. Sniper rifles are useless indoors, and it helps if they and you are properly camouflaged and quiet.
