Consider the release dates of the two... you're looking at 3+ year release gap, with the Marui arriving just a couple months ago, along with import-prohibited FPS of the Marui version.
It's no wonder the Marui version isn't seen as often right now.
Give it time, and more Marui's will be available on the market, at a lower price point as well (they're currently priced like KSC/KWA MP7's when they first hit the market.)
