The STAR/Guarder 14 SOPMOD is already out. It's in store in Taiwan. Cost around 18000 NT$, so you take that, and devide it by 25 or 26, then it's in Canadian dollars.
I had it in my hands, but couldn't operate it, because I didnt buy the gun haha. It's very sturdy, and has all the nice details. You could fit a large type battery in the handguard.
I wouldn't doubt STAR's products. They're great. Besides those oversized G36k handguards.
