bulk price is around 0.8 CENTS per unit (5k+ orders)

I would guess that the airsoft type triggers would cost around 2-3 cents each.

There is no carbon buildup for two reasons: there is some librification/protection from oxygen on the contacts, and the response time when triggered is a LOT faster that what a human can do.


However, better microswitches don't have bounce at all. But they cost 5-6$ each (again, bulk prices).

AC ratings is because theses switches are usually operated on analog circuits limit switches and or industrial environement. Because of the bounce, theses are no suited for precision DC electronics.
