The same could be said for any gun...
I've kept people suppressed with my 249 at 800 and 1500rpm, my M4 shooting semi slowly, I've even kept people fully cowering behind cover in fear with a bolt action sniper rifle lol
You could keep noobs suppressed with a blowgun if you really had to...
