Indeed. Our usual CQB scenario here is Assault and Defend, which involves a timer set to a predetermined length (usually 15 minutes). If the attackers can push the button to deactivate the timer, they win. If they don't, the defenders win.
That kind of scenario makes for a very fast-paced game...or slow. You wouldn't believe how long two minutes can be when you're facing fire from every direction and barely holding off the enemy. Timed objectives force fast play. Otherwise, yes. It is just hide and seek.
