Ive imported a few guns myself and never once had an issue. They do get to you with a bunch of tape covering your boxes after a few days at customs, but ive not had a problem. As long as the retailer you bought from provides CLEAR DOCUMENTATION that shows your item shoots over 366 fps they have no reason to seize it.
NEVER try to import a gun under that limit, or try to import a pistol or silencer. Those WILL be seized.
And yes clear receivers are an old law, you can paint them. Just like the orange tips on guns is an American law, not one of ours.
