I'm fairly confident that I would love the whole mil sim scene and I am looking for a great M4 to go along with it.

So far I've been looking at the WE m4, KWA lm4 (magpul edition) and I've only seen a few things on King arms but it seems like they are the only ones with trades. From reading and watching a few videos / articles It seems that the KWA m4 is very user friendly as things are already upgraded and is ready to go out of the box. The WE m4 needs a metal trigger assembly right from the start and it geared more towards the people that want to upgrade and fiddle with things along the way. Again, I havent seen much on King arms.

Now, Obviously price is always an issue so I wont be buying it right away but I feel after winter would be a great present for myself ( since I work in the cold on a roof I feel i deserve something ) and that gas doesnt really work in the snow too well.

I've heard something of a VFC GBB M4 which sounds nice but I am scared of VFC since my scar just never seemed right from the start. The problem with youtube and google is that you always here the person say " I love this gun! I just got it today". Im looking for people that have these guns and can tell me in the long term how they hold up with and without maintaining them like crazy ( not that I wont maintain but just for thought ) what will happen to them.

Any information on these things would be VERY appreciated.
Contrairy to what people seem to think, you DON'T need an upgraded trigger kit right from the start in WE rifles*.

It WILL break eventually. That said, I ran my WE rifles for 2 years before having to swap trigger parts. As soon as it got "new" trigger parts (bought a bunch from someone who "upgraded" everything right from the start), it came back to perfect (because the trigger was worn a bit, it would burst in semi some times).

Really, there is no point in upgrading anything until it break.
