So courtesy of azathoth, I got to turn a lonex comm.
Let me tell you, this specific one was total garbage!
The comm was a triangular polygon, low on the centers, so tons of arcing and comm eating going on. This isn't normal comm wear, so the comm wasn't turned properly at the factory.
Anyway the situation is salvageable!
Although next time I'd like new brushes to go with the new comm.... I'm shipping this one back and we'll see how it runs now that the comm is circular!
