From what I've seen of the WE Hi-Capas, I've also noticed that the fit and finish are not equivalent to that of the Marui.
Personally, I'd rather drop the extra coin on the Marui and upgrade it to full metal. It looks better in the end, feels better... and shoots better as the outer barrel does not wobble around as much.
I never got to shoot the WE I handled, but looking at that airsplat.com review, the groupings @ 5m & 10m shown in the photos aren't very impressive at all.
At 22 feet, my (tuned) Hi-Capa is capable of 2" groupings
Don't get me wrong, the WE isn't garbage. As a Taiwanese gun, it's among the best in it's league and as a straight out-of-the box gun, it's a greater performer for a great price.
