All makes of 13:1 gears I know of use standard bevel gears. The only company off the top of my head that uses different bevel gears is Siegetek. Generally if it has 10 or sometimes 9 teeth, it is a standard bevel. Siegetek 10:1 has a 14 tooth bevel.
