That's a common issue related to the cut-off lever and how it interacts with the trigger switch. This can be alleviated by using a faster gear-set (13:1 ratio) and/or using a more powerful motor and/or using a stronger battery.

Some gear sets have the cut-off cam lobe optimized to reduce this from occurring.

The Socom Gear Barrett Rec7 is OEM'd by VFC so it's basically a VFC gun with a different set of trades. Plenty of upgrade threads on this already.
