I'm telling you to get the tinted because it's cheaper, and use it till it breaks, then you can slowly upgrade.
The frame you can add a Guarder or HK3P lower, whatever suits you. You could even paint the tinted lower.
Though running a stock TM G17 with propane lasts a while before it breaks, haha... so good luck trying to break it! :P

But those tinted plastic frames are pure garbage.
If you don't mind having some stuff breaking (mainly the front screw post) then you'll be ok. It'll take maybe 100rds on propane...if you're lucky.
Having that post break can have negative effects.
But sometimes you won't even notice it.
Ultimately it is a preference between a pre-rigged metal slide Glock or an all plastic one for upgrades and beatifulness at the end....
