Airsoft Canada - View Single Post - Question about compatibility of external parts between CA and VFC AK's.

I'm wondering if anyone ever tried to mate VFC AKS-74U receiver with CA SLR (steel/wood version) front end to build an AKS. I have a bunch of AK's and 99.9% of airsoft events I attend are WW2 related, so I don't really want to buy another AK but I want an AKS.
P.S I was thinking about buying CA receiver separately but so far I had no luck finding one in Canada.
