there are several types of torque-up
I run systema super-torque and a 3000mah 8.4v

I couldnt tell you how much they lower it, its noticable though, lower then stock gears by a good bit.

Adding a metal piston and head will make the gun louder, make each cycle louder and thus, more noticably slower(breaks up the sound into crack, crack, crack....instead of BIZ-BIZ-BIZ(say it really fast))

Higher torque gears dont need alot of juice to turn over.
you could even run a very high mah 7.2v

is it specifically rof your after? of battery/gun life?
