I would suggest checking the games section and playing a few games with different teams. After a year or so, you should have a good idea of which team(s) you'd like to join, or one of them might invite you. I would strongly advise against joining a team you know nothing about. The same goes for teams, very few teams will take on players they have never played with before, and those teams that do take total strangers usually build fast, then crumble every bit as fast.

I would suggest you come to the "Real Cap" series games, almost all the local teams attend them and you could get age verified at the same time.
