Because we're on the topic of makeshift mounts...
Things I have tried:
DIY Lexan camera protector. Couldn't figure out a way to mount it. Time wasted: 6 hours.
Otterbox holster mounted on helmet w/ some sort of band. Time wasted: 24 hours.
Footage was shakey, couldn't adjust angle properly. Best to get a go-pro w/ appropriate mount so you can have good quality + proper angle...
