Thanks for the input everyone. I was planning to create a metal screen protector so in not seeing the screen i guarantee its safety.

I did a shake test and guess what: too shaky to be usable. I guess 400$ for gopro is the only way to go.

For anyone that may read this in future there are anti shake apps to use but the narrower angle of phones make the footage less processional.
