I just played my first day of skirmish games at my local field for the first time last week and its an amazing game to get into!

Ive heard from a lot of guys in Ontario that Siege is a geat place to go to for a lot of reasons

Find a place where you can rent gear for like ~50 bucks which usually includes most of the gear you need to start (then throw on a pair of good shoes/boots and pants/shirt and you're good to go.

As for playing with a group, if you cant find anyone specific just show up on a skirmish day and don't be shy. I went completely solo and met a few good guys and girls and ended up running with a couple different random groups of players throughout the day as the games went on. I've noticed a lot of airsoft players are great people who love to talk airsoft and dont mind helping you out.
