KJW M9 new slide safety

I just got my new metal slide for my KJW M9.

I took the internal from the damaged slide and installed them back in the new slide. I noticed that my safety switch is not working properly. It does not click into position.

I think I put it back together the right way but there is something wrong.

I did not notice any spring poping out or missing screws. I don't see anywhere where one could fit.

One the first picture, we can see the only screw that I had to remove to take off the metal plate. I had to unscrew a little allenscrew holding the safety lever to take all that out. Under the metal plate, there is the piston and 2 springs that make it come back. That is not missing and installed back the right way.

I test fired 2 shots the way it is and the gun worked well. I just don't feel confortable doing it again with a lose safety lever. I don't even know if the safety is doing it's job.

anyone know what could be wrong?

Tanx
