I guess from this post here I R-Hopped mine up just fine.
I used 0.20g BBS to begin with and it shot alright... really had to tune it in so that it shot straight without any over hopping. Made no performance difference until I used much heavier ammo.
Once I used 0.30g BBS there was no going back. The range on the thing was incredible.
I didn't find out that you had to use heavy ammo until a buddy on the field asked me how my R-Hopped performed.
My initial answer was meh it made no difference. So he asked me to compare with his gun. He was using a Polar Star shooting at 400fps and I had my gun shooting at 350fps.
I decided to use his 0.30g BBS to make the test more fair and wow... my gun was out ranging him by quit a lot.
We were both blown away by the results.
My Primary for the time being is a very compact VFC KAC PDW with the short barrel that out ranges snipers
