Try the Blade-Tech's new thigh holster. Sounds very similar to the 6004 with an added feature: positive retention. Thumb break becomes "semi-optional", meaning that for most applications you probably won't need the thumbreak unless you're going airborne.
6004 is decent, but the leg straps leave something to be desired.
