*waves* Well figured I should drop my 2 cents into this forum.

I've owned a Marushin Kar98 for almost 5 months now and a Real Steal one for a year (For Re-enacting). It has been very problematic from the very beginning, so I shall attempt to explain:

Cons:
-The sight hood does not have the spring power as the real steel, so it does have to be glued on.
-The bolt is signifigantly stiffer then a real steel
-The ball on the end of the bolt is just pressure fitted on and has a habit of falling off, so if possible, just re-enforce it with a dab of glue (More a time-buying measure then a solution)
-The pressure-release valve is very prone to opening when you don't want it to (AKA, when your listening for a leak) I'd suggest sealing this up as it will givey ou more problems then it was ever designed for
-The gun is light compaired with the real steel
-A original Bayonet will not fit onto the gun without a bit of filing.

Pros:
-This gun is very realistic. It is 1:1 scale, and the shells add a level of realism that can sometimes scare other players.
-The shells do no fly as far as implied as he shell ejector is not spring fired, so they are very easy to pick up.
-The construction of the shells are incredibly simple and I am looking into getting a large batch done up.
-8mm BBs pack a punch.
-I was also blown away by the fact that the mag-spring behaves EXACTLY like the real-steel does (When the gun does not contain any shells, the spring will prevent the bolt from movin' forward) This was to tell the operator that, yes, they do need to reload.

Note: This gun can run on propane very easlily, and you will get about 15-20 shots off one fill. Duster does work, but the velocity is affected.

Hopefully I will be able to get a Chrony on this gun soon an' get y'all some numbers. (I will also be writin' a detailed review/trouble shooting guid when I get some time)
