You could very well be right Renegade, I should have mentioned that I speak from personal experience. (800mAh Ni-Cd on 0.9A with that charger has worked safely in my observations) As for the advised mAh to be used, I was wrong. It is reccomended for use with >1100mAh on the following website. Best bet would, indeed, be to contact Scarecrow. There's more specs on the charger here.
I've never had a problem- but that's not to say that you won't. I apologize for the misinformation.
