I am with Greylocks on this as far as buying batteries. So many guys order batteries from airsoft retailers or other sources and get screwd on the price. Some online battery places do have good prices though.
But I find going into any hobby shop works great and if you have a problem with the battery its easy to return it.
you can get up to 2400mah in Nicad and 3600 or maybe 3800mah in Nimh 8.4v batteries.
