It's an 870 not the M1100 though. I note that the internals of the M1100 may not handle higher pressure very well. I have accumulated 3 scrap M1100s for spare parts and note that they all failed before upgrading at the same place. The plastic bolt assembly is not very robust.
Update:
At present, the shell loading mechanism on this 870 is fubar. It's always been bad though. It misfeeds on one every 15 or so shells which is pretty lame. The misfeed is not easily fixed in battle. To make things worse, bbs sometimes fall out of the shells during the loading process. When this happens, they wander around the insides of the gun and sometimes jam things which brings the field jams to be even more frequent.
As fun as it is to eject shells, it's just not battle practical. I've taken things apart yet again to make this shotty mag loaded. I have plans to load 10bbs per pump from a G3 mag once I get some spare time to get back into airsoft hackery.
