Yeah your probably right, Russians wernt that advanced back then. Its really hard to say what time period it is actually from. I'm guessing the 17 05 53 is most likely the manufacture date (even though the numbers arnt in a straight line across from each other, that would still be a valid date.)

But I really cant give you a definate answer.
