Arma-Coat can be applied to any wood, metal or plastic, the only exception being rubber.
There are no solvents that will damage even the cheapest plastics. The only part of concern would be when you degrease (Prep work) the cheap plastic you would have to take a rag with lacqer thinner and wipe it rather than submerge it so as to not melt the plastic. As for application of our product it will not have any effect to any type of plastic.
