I personally prefer the sliding stock to a full stock, but that's my taste and I don't see a real problem with using a mini battery for a stock MP5 (no upgrades). I can get 2500 rounds out of my Marui MP5k PDW with effectively a mini battery (different configuration, but same cells), which is fine for a full day of play.

good to know. What kind of battery are you using? The reason I'm picking ths up is because I have a classmate who's selling it REALLY cheep. (Used once, great condish)

Errrrr, it's a Mini, one of the main standard sizes of batteries. Check retailers sites.
If you want more battery power, get the version of that gun with the full sized stock. For the rest, a minimum of research on your part will answer all your questions.
