Well for starters, green gas is propane, so it was probably just a fluke that it worked when he filled the gun, or the room temperature was maybe different, which could have affected the pressure.
It could be something to do with the valves on the mag, they could be damaged, or maybe something is just lose.
I would take it back to ken and have him double check it. Removing the valves yourself to check them is a bit of a pain unless you have the tool to do it.
