You will be spotted in matter of seconds wearing ACU in the woods. At least it didn't take me long to spot people wearing that stuff. OD is actually not as bad as you think since camo is just an additional tool to ones skills. OD is pretty universal, works as long as there is some green vegitation around you.
In my opinion, out of all types of camo I've used DPM and fleck works the best.
