M733s and other Armalite variants with solid carry handles can have scopes mounted. They just need an intermediate piece that bolts to the carry handle and allows for a rail interface with the scope you want to mount.

Conversely, you can get a scope and mount designed specifically for Armalite carry handles.

ELCAN on a carry handle looks really fragile, especially if your carry handle is plastic. Settle for an Aimpoint or some other smaller optic that won't put as much strain on the handle.
